Description
This instrument is used along with suitable rigid endoscope to view the cervix and inside the uterus. Most gynecologists use rigid optical hysteroscopes, which offer wide-angle views of the uterine cavity. The diameter of modern optical hysteroscopes are 2.9mm - 4mm and these have different viewing angles; 30 degrees is most commonly used.
These hysteroscopes are used along with diagnostic or operative sheath and have an outer diameter between 3.2 to 9mm. These modern diagnostic and operative sheaths have isolated dual ports that provide continuous flow of distending media, which improves operating vision. Made up of finest quality medical grade stainless steel for durability. Surgical grade material being used to provide the highest level of craftsmanship
